On top of that, their proposed “solution” was to charge me extra for migrating the server to Finland. In other words, the customer is expected to pay additional fees to fix the consequences of a problem caused by the provider. Their communication showed no empathy, flexibility, or genuine concern for the customer. Rather than trying to regain the trust of a client affected by a serious incident, they seemed more interested in avoiding financial responsibility and collecting additional charges. Based on my experience, HOSTKEY does not treat its customers with respect and does not handle major incidents professionally. I cannot recommend this provider to anyone who needs reliable infrastructure, fair support, and accountability when problems occur.
