We are using Swarmify video player in our online learning platform called - Learning Inclusion (https://learninginclusion.com). Since we created this
...platform to provide the courses on diversity, accessibility and inclusion, it was extremely important for us that people with disabilities (including those who are blind and use screen readers for using the computer) can easily access and use the platform like everybody else. We found swarmify video player is reasonably accessible to those users, and we have heard no complaints from our customs regarding video players issues.
Apart from that, we find Swarmify to be quick and with no lags. YouTube is also quick, but with YouTube, there is then much clutter in the website which Swarmify does not have.
With the addition of Picture in Picture mode feature, the player has become more powerful.
Likewise, since the Swarmify is built on top of HTML5 Video functionality, we are able to do all sort of modifications, if we want to experiment new things. Like we have used tag to add subtitles in multiple language.
I would like to recommend this service for everybody, who wants to add videos to their website or web apps.
