Web24 use simple cpanel hosting just like thousands of other hosting companies but they don't seem to have a clue how to configure it. Touch any of the PHP settings and the server crashes. A crashed server is allocated a "medium priority" support ticket. None of the error reporting works in cpanel either. Support is via an Indian call centre where the operators have no apparent technical knowledge and the servers are slower than dial up speed. Stay away.
I have been in the industry for over 20 years and have used web24 for the past 6 years for some clients. Web24 have progressively gotten worse. Their support desk is useless. Please stay away from this hosting company. The systems are ok but continually have spf and blacklisting issues. Avoid at all cost
Good solid servers and reliable network but extremely poor support
I've been using Web24 for a couple of years and have several servers with them. Their day time support is great when you get hold of the correct support staff, but their after hour support might as well not exists. They couldn't complete a critical change that was requested 3 days ago and I now need to wait until Monday to get feedback ... one major issue with the company is that you are not able to get in touch with any of the actual engineers in the server room when things go wrong. I've been in this industry for 22 years, yet their support staff refuse to let me help resolve the issue!
I had a previous incident where their support staff argued with me for over 30 minutes that his change didn't impact our firewall - which it did. Their support staff is not as capable as needed.
If you are planning on using web24 - make sure that your internal IT team can support the server 100%. You need to take full personal responsibility as you can't reply in their support services.
I recently migrated to Web24 because of a recommendation by another company, unfortunately, it was an error. They are continually having issues with time-outs, email send receive issues, and really poor support response times. When a client relies on emails and they aren't working for days on end, and support is absolutely useless, it ends up costing both the client and myself a lot of time and money.
