Been a customer for about 6 months and no issues so far. Support generally helpful and consistently reaching out and sharing information that helps with my understanding how to improve things on my side. Thanks guys!
This company changed its name twice in less then a year. At first this didnt bother me. But it was when they startied mixing up my invoices, one day you receive a maile you are paid upto date the very next day they want more money en suspend your service. When you request to tranfer your service they with held the transfer request. Poor service and I am still waiting to get a compatant manager to contact me.
Web Africa is the preferred company I used since 2005. The customer service is spot on and the service great! BUT the Internet access and hosting part was split and GridHost became the hosting provider. Only a couple of months in GridHost changed again to become 1-Grid.com. Both GridHost and 1-Grid is a disaster and giving them the benefit of doubt I am moving on. The customer service is pathetic, taking days to even attend to a simple open support query. The billing system is working through an additional gateway and you are unable to add/upload any proof of payment on their website. Thus WebAfrica top scores, the hosting of GridHost/1-Grid 1/10
They are quite reliabe and support is on point. Web africas web division has now moved to another company which they own, Gridhost. Pricing is quite competitive as compared to other local hosts
